Scott Byer is a hard working, family loving, born and raised Oregonian. As a child, his mom and dad owned carpet cleaning companies. Since 1991, Scott worked in the family business during his summers of high school and college - learning the trade. If you asked him back then if he would become a carpet cleaner -- he likely would have said no.

After being an Oregon State Champion wrestler at Newberg High School he went on to earn a college degree from Western Oregon University. After college he moved to San Diego and worked for a period of time with the San Diego Chargers.  Missing his family and friends in Oregon, he returned home where he met his wife Jackie. 

Scott and Jackie decided it was time to launch A-Steam Carpet Cleaning and go back to his roots.  They were extremely successful starting and operating the business in the Portland area.

Deciding they wanted room to roam and a different lifestyle overall for their kids and family -- they relocated to Redmond, Oregon.
